This document ("Terms", "Agreement") governs your access to and use of HastRekha (accessible at hast-rekha.com and its subdomains), a proprietary Vedic palm reading platform ("Platform", "We", "Us", "Our"). The terms "User", "You", "Your" refer to any person accessing or using the Platform.

By uploading a palm image, submitting a reading request, or making any payment on this Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

HastRekha provides palm reading services rooted in ancient Vedic palmistry traditions. All readings, recommendations, predictions, gemstone suggestions, Vastu guidance, and lifestyle advice provided through this Platform are for entertainment and personal spiritual guidance purposes only.

Specifically:

• Palm readings are interpretive in nature and based on traditional knowledge. They are not scientifically validated predictions of future events.
• Gemstone recommendations are traditional Vedic suggestions only. Consult a qualified Vedic astrologer and, where appropriate, a medical professional before wearing any gemstone.
• Vastu and lifestyle recommendations are general guidance and may not suit every individual's specific circumstances.
• Results and interpretations may vary between individuals and reading sessions.
• HastRekha does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or outcome of any reading.

By using this Platform you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• You are uploading an image of your own palm, or have the explicit prior written consent of the person whose palm you are uploading.
• All personal information you provide (name, date of birth, gender) is accurate and truthful.
• You will not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose.
• You will not upload offensive, obscene, illegal, or inappropriate content.
• You will not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access control feature of the Platform.

HastRekha reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any User who violates these responsibilities, without refund.

HastRekha charges ₹99 per palm reading. Payment is processed through a secure third-party payment gateway. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes.

• By completing payment you authorise the charge to your selected payment method.
• All payments are non-refundable once a reading has been generated and delivered to you.
• Exception: If a technical failure on our end prevents your reading from being generated, you are entitled to one free re-attempt or a full refund. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours to jyotish@hast-rekha.com.
• HastRekha does not store your card or bank details. Payment data is handled entirely by our payment gateway provider under their own terms and security standards.
• Prices are subject to change. The price shown at the time of your purchase is the price you pay.
• In case of any payment dispute or discrepancy, contact us within 48 hours. HastRekha is not liable for payment failures caused by your bank, device, or network.

Your privacy is important to us. By using the Platform you consent to the following data practices:

• Palm images are processed solely to generate your reading and are not stored permanently on our servers after the reading is complete.
• Personal details (name, date of birth, gender) are used exclusively to personalise your reading. They are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
• Jyotishi consultation requests (name, email, question) are stored solely for the purpose of responding to your query.
• We may retain anonymised, aggregated usage data with no personal identifiers to improve Platform quality.
• You acknowledge that data transmitted over the internet may be subject to interception risks beyond our reasonable control. We take all reasonable technical measures to protect your data.
• For data access, correction, or deletion requests, write to jyotish@hast-rekha.com.

The "Ask Our Jyotishi" feature allows you to submit a personalised question for a response from our Vedic consultant.

• Consultation responses are delivered to your email address within 24–48 hours. Response times may vary during high demand periods.
• Consultation fees (where separately applicable) will be clearly communicated before any additional payment is requested.
• All consultation responses are spiritual and advisory in nature. The disclaimer in Section 2 applies in full.
• HastRekha reserves the right to decline consultations that are abusive, illegal, outside the scope of Vedic guidance, or that seek professional advice (medical, legal, financial).
• Questions submitted become part of our service records. No content from your question will be shared publicly without your consent.

HastRekha is a fully proprietary platform. All elements are protected under the Indian Copyright Act 1957, the Information Technology Act 2000, and applicable international intellectual property law.

Protected elements include, without limitation:

• The Platform's unique reading methodology, interpretation framework, and output structure
• The user interface, visual design language, layout, colour scheme, and navigation architecture
• All written content, remedy text, guidance language, and report formatting within the Platform
• The underlying logic, scoring systems, and recommendation approach that power readings
• The HastRekha brand name, logo, tagline, and all associated visual identity elements

The following are strictly prohibited without prior written permission from HastRekha:

• Copying, cloning, replicating, or building any platform or service that is inspired by, based upon, or derived from HastRekha's approach, design, or output structure
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to extract any element of the Platform's underlying methodology or logic
• Automated scraping, crawling, or systematic extraction of any content or outputs from the Platform
• Reproducing, republishing, or reselling reading outputs for any commercial purpose
• Using HastRekha's name, logo, or brand identity in any manner that implies affiliation, endorsement, or association
• Creating derivative works based on HastRekha's design, content, or methodology without express written consent

Your individual reading report is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. Any violation of this section will be pursued under applicable Indian and international law. HastRekha reserves the right to seek injunctive relief, statutory damages, actual damages, and recovery of legal costs.

Any attempt to derive, reproduce, or reverse engineer the Platform in violation of these terms may also constitute an offence under Section 65 and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Users shall not:

• Upload palm images of third parties without explicit consent
• Attempt to access or tamper with any backend systems, APIs, or server infrastructure
• Use any automated tool, bot, or script to access the Platform
• Engage in any conduct that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harassing toward HastRekha staff or other users
• Use the Platform to disseminate unlawful, obscene, or harmful content
• Attempt to resell, sublicense, or commercialise any part of the Platform or its outputs

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination of access without refund, and legal action where appropriate.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

• HastRekha is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
• HastRekha shall not be liable for any decisions made by Users based on reading outputs, whether financial, personal, medical, legal, or otherwise.
• HastRekha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Our total aggregate liability to you under any circumstances is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific reading in question (maximum ₹99).
• HastRekha does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.

• HastRekha is hosted on cloud infrastructure and does not guarantee 100% uptime or continuous availability.
• The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
• If a paid reading fails due to a confirmed server-side error, contact us within 48 hours for a re-attempt or refund.
• HastRekha reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the Platform or any feature at any time, with or without prior notice.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes take effect from the date of publication on the Platform.

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution of disputes in good faith through written communication to jyotish@hast-rekha.com within 30 days of the dispute arising.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

HastRekha reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. The version date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
